Fine Art Prints, Hand-Embellished Prints and Original Artworks
Our Fine Art Prints are printed on museum-grade archival, acid-free paper with certified genuine Epson archival inks that are waterproof and fade-resistant up to 75+ years. Our embellished prints use only acid-free, quality embellishments and our Original Artworks are painted on the highest quality paper using only artist quality materials. Prints are handled as minimally as possible during production within Kirstin's studio, and are packaged in an acid- and lignin-free sleeve with recycled, acid-free backing board. For best care of your prints and original artworks, handling is best kept to a minimum to avoid fingerprints and acid from our skin damaging the artwork surface. When not framed behind glass, we recommend prints and originals be stored within their acid-free sleeves or in archival photo-storage boxes.
Ceramic Art Tiles and Tile Products
Our Ceramic Art Tiles, which are available on their own, framed or in a range of different products from Garden Stakes to Bookends, are created within the artist's studio using the highest quality sublimation inks on their glossy surfaces. Although these inks are UV-resistant, we recommend avoiding keeping tiles or tile products in direct sun, as most products can fade over time of prolonged exposure. If the tile surface becomes dirty, it may be washed with a little warm water and a soft cloth, or a very mild cleansing agent. We recommend against storing tiles with their printed surfaces together, as over time, the inks can migrate onto the other surface. When storing or packaging tiles, always wrap them in a natural material such as paper. All of our tiles are wrapped carefully in tissue paper before shipping.
Jewelry/Jewellery
To maintain the best life out of your jewelry, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place and keeping it from being exposed to water (remove before a shower!). It is also good practice to put your jewelry on after you have put on all your creams/perfumes, as some chemicals used in these could affect the surfaces of your jewelry. To clean your jewelry, we recommend against using conventional cleaning products: instead, use a soft cloth a little vegetable oil (Kirstin's favourite method for a brilliant clean and shine), rubbing gently over your jewelry, or use a silver-polishing cloth to restore shine.
Coffee Mugs
Our Mugs are printed in the artist's studio using the same high-quality and UV-resistant inks as our Ceramic Art Tiles. They are microwave and dishwasher safe (if using a dishwasher, always place your mugs on the top level). However, for best care and longevity (as well as best health-care for you), we recommend avoiding the harsh chemicals and super-heat of the dishwasher, and gently hand-washing instead in mild detergent. We also recommend storing mugs away from direct sunlight and away from rubbing up against other surfaces.
Glass Cutting and Serving Boards
Our tempered glass cutting and serving boards are gorgeous items that will last for years to come with proper use and care. These boards feature a tempered glass chopping/serving surface with the artwork design printed on a special coating on the underside of the glass. To get the best use out of your product, always be sure to use only the top of the chopping board (the side with the artwork showing through). This side may be cleaned or scrubbed as desired but take care not to scrub the specially-coated reverse side with harsh chemicals or abrasives as this may damage the image. We recommend gently hand-washing your Cutting Board, to ensure its best care.
T-Shirts and ClothingOur T-Shirts are made using a state of the art sublimation process that embeds the image right into the fabric of the shirt for an extremely soft, flexible and long-lasting product. For best care of these TShirts we recommend a gentle machine or hand wash separately in cold water. Do NOT bleach these garments. A low tumble dry is OK. If needed, iron on a very low setting and take care not to iron the artwork image. Do not dry clean.
Mirror Compacts and Deluxe Metal Keyrings
Our Mirror Compacts and Deluxe Metal Keyrings are made with the same bright metal, with a beautiful, glittery printed surface. To clean these items and to restore their polished shine, we recommend rubbing with a soft cloth or silver-polishing cloth.
Tasseled Bookmarks
Our gorgeous tasseled bookmarks are relatively care-free. However, if the tassel becomes kinked or disheveled, it can be straightened again with careful application of hot steam (if you are young, get a parent to help you!).
